When a Kuwait ID scan should fill the record, not a vault

The document AI job in Kuwait: copy Civil ID name, number, and expiry into the HR or CRM row they already open, and when a scan vault is a different build.

The job is a Civil ID they already photographed. A Kuwait HR or front desk has the card on the counter. Someone still types the name, the number, and the expiry into the staff or customer row they already have open.

Teams ask for “document AI.” That is a shelf. The job is those fields from a card they already scanned, landing on the record they already trust — not a vault that keeps every photo.

What the scan actually does

The fields are already named. Name as printed, civil ID number, nationality, date of birth, expiry. Text generation here means a structured read of that photo or file, written onto the HR or CRM row they already use, then a stop. A miss stays blank. A person can open last week’s row and see the scan, the fields, and what was kept.

Policy PDF annotation is the same shape on a denser form: name each input, keep the geometry, refuse a field the page does not show. This job is thinner. It does not map a ministry form. It does not store the pile.

This is not writing a known record into a mapped form. Fill spends a row you already have. A card scan creates the fields on that row. It is also not named clauses from a signed contract. A contract is a handful of terms they already track. A Civil ID is a short identity line they already type by hand.

When we leave the card with a person

If the phone photo is cropped or the laminate throws glare, software will invent a digit. Leave the number blank. If they need PACI Area and Block, those sit on the back — a front-only scan is not the address. If an expired card and a new card sit in the same folder, keep the person on which expiry the row may use.

Desks often keep Arabic on the card and English already in the CRM. That is a copy rule on named fields. A civil ID number the photo does not show must not appear on the draft. If the ask is “keep every scan,” that is a vault. This slice is three fields, then delete or lock the photo.
