When Kuwait YouTube needs an upload digest, not a watch list

The job is a video that already went up. The channel is on your list. Someone still finds it after the morning brief, or pastes a link with no note attached.

Teams ask for a “YouTube agent.” That is a chat. This loop detects the upload, transcribes it, writes the structured note you already use, posts it to the channel you named, and stops.

What the automation actually does

It watches the channel URLs you already named. It notices a new public upload. It transcribes speech and writes the same blocks the desk already types by hand — claim, timestamps, a line they can reuse. It posts once to Discord or Slack. It does not open a search tab or invent channels.

The YouTube summarizer is that loop: Discord listener, transcribe, structured note, back into the same channel. AI automation is the clock. We will not treat one desk’s volume as yours.

This is not deciding whether watching is the bottleneck. That call writes the list and what “done” means. This loop assumes both exist. It is also not a source-blog title ping. A blog ping is a URL. A video needs a transcript before the note is usable.

When we leave the digest with a person

If two editors still argue which five channels count, software will fill the room with noise. If the tape is a regulator or a founder you will act on, keep a person on the watch — the note is a pointer, not the file. If the cut is music, slides with no speech, or three languages, start with a sample set, not a nightly bot.

Kuwait desks often mix Arabic and English channels on one list. Name the language you expect on each URL so the 7 a.m. note is readable.
