When an AI influencer needs a still library, not a one-shot face

The job is a character that survives more than one post. Someone approves a look, a still pack has to stay on that face, and this week’s dance format has to use the same person.

Teams ask for “an AI influencer.” That is a category. Consultancy writes the gate first: who approves the base, how many stills you actually reuse, and whether a dance reel is even the next surface.

What we check on a consultancy call

Whether you already have a face you would ship twice. Who is allowed to reject a look. Whether the next asset is a still, a Reel, or both. How you hear about the dance you want to copy — a saved audio, a scrape, a person who lives on TikTok. Where the finished file has to land.

If the look drifts every generation, a weekly dance pipeline will only multiply the drift. That is a pause, not a product.

If the stall is the library and the mapping, a product with an approve step can replace the one-shot tool. The Shakl case study is that loop: prompt or reference in, human approve, a stored still pack, then a weekly dance-to-Reel job with captions. We will not treat one SaaS cadence as yours.

This is not the Instagram generate-and-post loop. That job ships a scheduled grid from an idea. It is also not packshot-to-talking-head UGC. That job starts from a SKU photo. This job starts from a character you intend to keep.

What we will not recommend yet

We will not open with unattended posting to every model you can mint. A person still has to watch the first stills. We will not scrape a dance you cannot legally reuse, and we will not promise a face that matches a named person you did not license.

If you only need three images for one campaign, a one-shot generator plus a folder is enough. A still library and a dance pipeline are later jobs.

If the character is real and the same person loses the same hours every week, we scope approve → still pack → trend map → Reel. That is AI consultancy first, then image and video if the loop is mechanical.
