When a Kuwait catalog needs generated stills, not another studio day
Consultancy questions for the ‘this SKU needs a clean still in the shop’ job — lock the product, name the background, and when a photographer is still the right spend.
The job is a still that can sit on a product page. Same bottle, same label, a background the brand already uses, a file the shop can ingest.
People ask for “AI images.” That is a model list. The job is whether a new SKU can leave a folder and land in Shopify or the CMS without a half-day booking.
What we decide on a first call
How many SKUs actually change this month. Whether you already have one hero angle you reuse. What “the same product” means — label text, cap colour, a scar on the glass. Where the file has to go: a Shopify field, a DAM, a WhatsApp pack for the media buyer.
If you cannot hold a product still across three scenes, generation will invent a new bottle every run. That is a pause, not a pipeline.
If the lock is real and the stall is studio days, AI image generation can be a narrow queue: brief in, approved stills out, or an API drop into the catalog. We will not treat a pretty sample as a SKU system.
This is not the Instagram generate-and-post loop. A meme account can drift. A catalog cannot. It is also not Mehfil’s packshot-to-talking-head job. Motion is a later brief.
When we tell you to keep the photographer
Jewellery, food that has to look edible, and anything a customer will compare to the box in their hand still need a camera more often than a prompt. If legal owns the label, we will not generate type on the pack.
Kuwait shops often need Arabic and English on the same PDP. That is a crop and a copy rule. It does not mean “make twelve random lifestyles.”
AI consultancy writes the lock and the destination first. A still pipeline comes after you can fail a render for the right reason.
